The Kitchen without Walls

Our friends from Kaja Tanja, preparing for the Hungarian evening a peasant soup and their specialty : homemade chocolate.

+

Corina's mother (my Mixer colleague) was " le chef " at the romanian evening and also part of our project
What you put is what you get , that we presented with this occasion.

+

We also had a mini mobile kitchen for kids, who cooked also along with us, unfortunately we also had to taste the foods ( stone soup mmmmmmmm).

+

Eugen Pănescu together with Paul Buchert, prepared German recipes (the apple hot soup was a hit) and spoke about mobile
vegetable markets and the situation of small producers in Romania.

+

Last evening with Jewish family dinner, with the help of Yael Gross, was relaxed and had a nice social / age mix, a wonderful way to finish our action.

Kitchen Stories

We where invited to make a "Kitchen Stories" edition in Bucharest for the finisage of the exhibition we also bin part of. People
cooked from our notebook archive of recipes, that we getter for the project, and even made on the spot some different biscuit
salami recipes.
It was a very nice afternoon with very friendly and interesting people (and rather hard working for the sunny weather outside).

+

thank you again to Stefan Sava, that probably ate less but documented the action in the "kitchen".

Dancing Bears1.

This year I got a bit of childhood rituals nostalgia, things that I don't see anymore since I moved from my hometown...I worked
on this symbols that I found so fascinating when I was very young, that means in other words beautiful and a bit frighting.

I made them starting from the dancing bear ritual...we could hear trough the neighborhood streets a sound coming from many
drums like an incantations and than they would appear...the man dressed in uniforms with golden and colored details, it was
the bear with red pompons dancing.
