The dancing goat

I've got this wonderful book from my friend and fellow artist...it was great to discover in it images of my December theme : the
transformation from man to beast in the old Romanian traditions. And for the Ania-on-Martina east/west collection we also made
this set of oval plates with the same motif.

This year I got a bit of childhood rituals nostalgia, things that I don't see anymore since I moved from my hometown...I worked
on this symbols that I found so fascinating when I was very young, that means in other words beautiful and a bit frighting.

 I made them starting from the dancing bear ritual...we could hear trough the neighborhood streets a sound coming from many
drums like an incantations and than they would appear...the man dressed in uniforms with golden and colored details, it was
the bear with red pompons dancing.

today a take it easy atmosphere in the studio, playing around with some E.T. pattern and enjoying the rain sound on the window.

yesterday evening reminded me how much I love Buster Keaton and his incredible movies ... had also a super professional well
coordinated live music composed and performed by Struggle Orchester especially for the movie.

nature is  lying, playing tricks, plants and insects change roles as they please, patterns of surviving or boredom ?

I'm very good in finding other things to do, but not the one I'm supposed to...this is one of them, a decently noisy toy for a new
born...I consider it a nice brake.

Happy new year with neon stars...we gonna have plenty of them...
